Bas Kosters receives Cultuurfonds fashion stipend
Award
April 13th Bas received the 8th Cultuurfonds fashion stipend during a festive ceremony at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
The stipend is the most important award in Dutch fashion, and is awarded to fashion designers who have distinguished themselves with their work, to develop themselves artistically and economically. During the ceremony Bas seized the opportunity to present a preview of his project “HOPE”.
Receiving the Cultuurfonds Fashion stipend symbolizes a new and important step in my career. It was an honour to be rewarded the stipend.This allowed me to deepen and strenghten my artistic principles. I found it appropriate to share my new project with the public directly after the ceremony, to look into the future together.
